About Danny Ng

Hi, I’m Danny Ng. I was born in Malaysia where I spent a good 12 years of my life, 5 years in Brisbane and have been living Sydney, Australia until now.

I went to 4 primary schools, and 5 high schools not because I’m a rebel but because I was an early nomad. In 2007, I graduated from Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at The University of Sydney.

My previous work was with Hannover Fairs Australia, the organisers of CeBIT Australia, where I did a whole bunch of video editing/recording, web development, network administration and email marketing. I then moved to a company called First Rate where I’m working as a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) / Search Engine Marketing (SEM) consultant. You can add me on LinkedIn if you wish.

I enjoy web development and have had experience with frameworks such as .NET, J2EE, Perl CGI and Ruby on Rails. In addition, I’ve also delved into Joomla, Drupal and Wordpress. My favourite language would probably have to be JavaScript as I enjoy front-end development and AJAX a lot.

Being a Christian is what drives me and I actively serve in the Wesley International Congregation through music and leading bible studies. God is very real in my life, the only thing that matters, and the most important figure in anyone’s life.
